Task manager for ADHD brains

You know what
to do. You just
can't start.

ADH-Do picks a task for you and tells you to go — so your brain never has to make that call.

No spam. No streaks. Just stuff worth reading.

You're in.

We'll be in touch when there's something worth saying.

The problem

The list isn't the problem.

Every productivity app assumes the same thing: that you just need a better list. But if you have ADHD, you already have a list. You've had the list for three weeks.

The problem is the wall between knowing and doing. That paralysis isn't laziness — it's your brain's inability to self-initiate without an external trigger.

Todoist, Notion, Things — they're organising tools dressed up as solutions. They hand you a beautifully sorted list and then leave you standing in front of it, frozen. The shame of the unopened app icon is a specific kind of hell.

ADH-Do doesn't show you a list.
It picks something and tells you to go.

Dice roll. Random task. Five-minute mode. Whatever your brain needs that day — the decision gets made for you. The wall comes down. You start.

How it works

Three steps.
No decisions.

You open the app. It does the rest. That's the whole thing.

01

Open the app

No dashboard. No inbox. No list to scroll through. You land on one thing: a button that says go.

02

It picks your task

ADH-Do selects a task from your list using dice roll, priority, or five-minute mode — whichever fits your brain today.

03

You do the thing

One task. Full focus. No second-guessing whether you picked the right one. The decision is already made.

Features

how your brain actually works.

Dice Roll

Let randomness decide

Can't choose which task to start? Roll the dice. One task. Selected for you. The randomness breaks the freeze.

Five-Minute Mode

Just five minutes

Can't face a big task? Start with something that takes five minutes. That's it. Sometimes starting is the only thing you needed.

No Streaks. Ever.

Progress without the shame.

Streaks punish ADHD brains for having bad days. ADH-Do tracks every task you've started — a number that only goes up, never resets, never judges.

Off-Day Mode

Bad brain day? Okay.

Some days your brain won't cooperate. Off-day mode picks your lowest-friction task. Not giving up — adapting.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The short version: ADH-Do does not collect your personal information, does not track you, does not sell your data, and does not send your data anywhere. Everything the app knows about you stays on your device.

1. Who we are

ADH-Do is a product of Finally Did It (ABN 61 218 647 201), a sole trader business registered in Australia. The app is designed to help people with ADHD initiate tasks.

If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data the app collects

ADH-Do stores the following data on your device only. None of this is transmitted to us or any third party.

Your preferences and settings

  • Tone preference (warm, direct, irreverent, or minimal)
  • Initiation method preference (auto random, short list, user picks, or daily check-in)
  • Off-day mode setting
  • Task display mode
  • Reward preferences (sounds, visuals, affirmations)
  • Time format preference (12hr or 24hr)
  • Micro-steps preference
  • Whether the onboarding quiz has been completed

Your tasks

  • Task titles, categories, and subcategories
  • Task difficulty and duration estimates
  • Task frequency settings
  • First step hints
  • Whether tasks are active or inactive
  • Task completion history (dates and counts)
  • Reminder times and days you set for each task

Your usage data (stored locally)

  • Brain state selections ("how's your brain today?" responses)
  • Session history — which tasks you started, how you initiated them, whether you completed them
  • Total task starts counter (a number that only goes up — no streaks)
  • Milestone achievements (10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 task starts)

Device information (accessed locally, not stored or transmitted)

  • Device locale and language settings — used only to determine your time format preference automatically

3. What data the app does NOT collect

We want to be explicit about this:

  • We do not collect your name
  • We do not collect your email address (the app has no account system)
  • We do not collect your phone number
  • We do not collect your location
  • We do not collect your device ID, IMEI, UDID, or any hardware identifier
  • We do not use any analytics tools (no Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar)
  • We do not use advertising SDKs or ad tracking
  • We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or photos
  • We do not collect biometric data
  • We do not build a profile of you
  • We do not sell data. Ever.

4. Where your data is stored

All data is stored locally on your device using your device's standard local storage (AsyncStorage). No data is transmitted to our servers or any external server. We do not operate a backend database containing your information.

This means if you delete the app, all your data is permanently deleted with it. We have no copy of it.

5. Device permissions

ADH-Do requests the following device permissions:

Android

  • RECORD_AUDIO and MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS — Required by the audio playback library to play completion sounds. We do not record audio. We do not access your microphone.

iOS

  • Notifications — Used only to deliver task reminders you set yourself. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.

We do not request permission to access your camera, contacts, location, photos, microphone (for recording), or any other sensitive device feature.

6. Push notifications and reminders

If you enable reminders for tasks, ADH-Do will send local push notifications to your device at the times you set. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — they are not sent from our servers. No notification content or timing data is transmitted to us.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings app, or by turning off reminders within ADH-Do.

7. Third-party services

ADH-Do is built using Expo, a React Native development framework. The app uses the following third-party libraries, none of which transmit your personal data:

  • Expo / React Native — App framework. No data collection.
  • AsyncStorage — Local device storage library. Data stays on your device.
  • expo-audio — Audio playback for completion sounds. No data collection.
  • expo-haptics — Haptic feedback. No data collection.
  • expo-notifications — Local push notifications. No external transmission.
  • TanStack Query — Local data caching. No external transmission.
  • Lucide React Native — Icon library. No data collection.

We do not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.

8. The waitlist (adh-do.com)

If you signed up on our landing page at adh-do.com, we collected your email address via Brevo (our email platform) to send you launch notifications and occasional updates. This is separate from the app itself.

  • Your email is stored in Brevo and used only to send emails you opted in to receive
  • We do not share your email with anyone
  • You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send
  • Brevo's privacy policy is available at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy

9. Children's privacy

ADH-Do is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Your rights

Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our end, most data rights (access, correction, deletion) are exercised directly on your device:

  • Delete all data: Go to Settings within ADH-Do and tap "Delete all data." This permanently wipes everything the app has stored on your device.
  • Delete the app: Uninstalling ADH-Do removes all locally stored data permanently.
  • Waitlist email: To be removed from our waitlist, unsubscribe using the link in any email we've sent you, or email us at [email protected].

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Australia, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, UK GDPR, and the Australian Privacy Act 1988). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

11. Data security

Since all app data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends on your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We encourage you to use a strong passcode or biometric lock on your device.

For waitlist email data held by Brevo, industry-standard security measures are in place. For more information, see Brevo's security documentation.

12. Future features — accounts and social features

ADH-Do currently has no account system. Future versions of the app may introduce optional features such as accountability buddy matching, which would require the creation of a user account. If and when this happens:

Accounts

  • Account creation will be optional — the core app will always be usable without an account
  • We will collect only what is necessary — likely an email address for login and account recovery
  • Passwords will be hashed and never stored in plain text
  • You will be able to delete your account and all associated data at any time

Display names and identity

  • If social or matching features are introduced, users will choose a username or display name — real names will never be required
  • Your display name will be visible to any accountability buddy you are matched with
  • No other personal information will be visible to other users
  • You will be able to change or remove your display name at any time

Accountability buddy matching

  • If a buddy matching feature is introduced, matching data (who you are paired with, weekly check-in results) will be stored on our servers
  • Buddies will see only: your display name, and whether you hit your goal that week (yes/no)
  • Buddies will not see your full task list, individual task details, brain state history, or any other app data
  • You can opt out of buddy matching at any time, and all matching data will be deleted

This policy will be updated before any account or social features are released. We will notify users of material changes.

13. Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant — like introducing accounts or new data collection — we'll let you know directly via email before they take effect. We won't just quietly update a page and assume you're fine with it.

14. Contact

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests relating to this privacy policy or your data, please contact us:

We will respond to all privacy-related enquiries within 30 days.
